Pontus Linder is a Swedish dance artist based in Helsinki. His has harnessed a lot of his dancing skills, artistic expression and cultural engagement from the hip hop scene. However, he also has a bachelor’s degree in art and pedagogy from University of Dance and Circus (DOCH), Stockholm.

His current independent dance practice is focused on exploring breaking and hip-hop within a performance art context – often employing elements of physical theatre and social commentary.

Pontus is also part of the Finnish national breaking team and does cultural work with the national organisation of breaking in Finland SBL. Finnish and Swedish champion in solo and crew category. Winner of battle of the year Nordic qualifier 2018.

2021 Pontus is participating in Goethes #CROWDDANCE project, taking place in Finland, Holland, UK and Germany.
